Era Laboratories was formed in 1977, when Bob and Susan Magnuson purchased the laboratory division of the engineering firm where Bob worked.  At the time, the lab performed mostly permit work for municipal and industrial dischargers in northern Minnesota.  Since then, Era has expanded its services to include waste evaluation, lake and stream studies, organics analysis, and field services.  It expanded its territory too, and now has clients as far away as Colorado and Maine, although the bulk of its work comes from Minnesota, Wisconsin and the Dakotas.

For the 20+ years that it has been in business, Era Lab's mission has been to provide quality laboratory services.  It doesn't matter if a client's workload consists of one or two samples quarterly, or hundreds of samples every month.  Each client receives the same personal service and concern.  There is always someone at the other end of the phone to answer your questions.
